Experience.
Anna Rotolo grew up adjacent to the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and began playing piano at age 5. Starting in middle-school, she studied piano under two Julliard-trained music faculty at Washington State University and gained a depth and breadth of experience in successful preparation for music adjudications and competitions. Inspired to share her love of music with others, she began teaching piano lessons at age 16.
Dedication.
Anna attended Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Music with Honors in 2020. While a student at Macalester, she won the college’s Concerto Competition and had the honor of performing as the featured soloist with the Macalester Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Anna served as a teaching assistant for Music Theory I and II. She has also developed a passion for electronic music composition, influenced by a wide variety of genres including classical, pop, and jazz.

She regularly performs as part of The Get Together, a tight-knit group of Minneapolis-based musicians from across the rock spectrum. She also produces solo electro-pop songs in her free time.

Anna brings a unique approach to helping each student accomplish their personal goals, from coaching mature students in technique and expression to nurturing beginning students who simply want to learn how to play the piano. She strives to help all students find a unique and informed sense of creative expression at the instrument.
